In addition, it became clear with whom the country can negotiate, and with whom it is impossible to have a trusting relationship. Such countries "cannot be trusted from now on," concluded the Russian Foreign Minister.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Minister said that the United States and European countries want to use the media to ensure public loyalty to support Ukraine. Lavrov also said that in recent years in the West, especially in the United States, Germany and France, the media have been lining up in such a way as to promote a line that is important to one or another government. As an example, he cited the administration of the current head of the White House, Joe Biden.

In December, the head of the Russian foreign Ministry also accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of "not caring about his own people." Lavrov considered that the facts that became known during the special operation confirm the timeliness of its start. At the same time, the Russian Foreign Minister believes that it might have been worth starting earlier.
